Established in 2008, Narayan Medical College & Hospital Jamuhar(Rohtas), Bihar started providing MBBS courses with its first batch of just 100 students and now the college has an annual student intake capacity of 250 by the year 2023, recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Founder of the College & Hospital, Shri Gopal Narayan Singh to fulfill the dream of their parents to have a Hospital in the district began when he formed a trust by the name of Deo Mangal Memorial Trust. Under his guidance the Trust opened a charitable hospital by the name of Narayan Chikitsalaya with the sole aim of catering to health care needs of the poorest section of the society Narayan Medical College & Hospital, Jamuhar (Rohtas).
